Comfrey is known as knitbone or wound healer. In the herbal world we call it Symphytum officinale. For thousands of years humans have used comfrey in the healing of bruises, broken bones, sprains, & wounds.
Because this is an oil it can be easily applied to painful sprains and swellings. It can be dripped on to the bruise or put on to a gauze then applied to the affected area. Do not place on an open wound, though. Comfrey encourages wound healing and can lock in infection.
Comfrey contains the anti-inflammatory rosmarinic acid & the cell proliferant allantoin. It will help heal bruises, sprains, & wounds.
Directions for Use:
Apply to affected area up to six times per day.
Can be applied directly to bruise or sprain or applied to gauze which is placed on affected area.
Do not use on psoriasis or keloids as this oil encourages skin growth.
Ingredients: Symphytum officinale root, Symphytum officinale folia, Certified organic Olea euporaea (olive) oil. No preservatives, no additives.
