Anyone remember Star Wars in the 70s when they made a blue drink and most people in the audience went "Eeewwww." Yes, The Nerd is THAT old, saw the movie in the theatre.
Now you can make your own blue drink that's chock full of antioxidants and flavonoids.
It can help support:
*Immunity*Memory, Cognitive Function
*Mood
*Stress Response
*Connective Tissue
*Eye Health
*Painful Joints.
Pretty darn neat.
Butterfly Pea flower has been used in Ayervedic Medicine for centuries. Not going to lie, it tastes a bit weird, slightly citrusy, a bit of floral, and somewhat earthy. It mixes well with milk of choice and a drop of honey, though.
Plus, if a small amount of lemon juice is added, it changes to a gorgeous lavender colour. The chemists in the building understand that acidity can affect colour much like litmus paper. Fun!
Have the drink hot or cold. It's delicious either way.And no, The Nerd has not tried making a cocktail with this one.
Let me know how it goes!
