OMG, not again?
The pain, the discomfort.
Gads. Why does this always happen?
The frustration & discomfort of a urinary tract infection (UTI) is, quite literally, a pain. Maybe antibiotics are ineffective now or you've had enough.
What can be done?
🌼 First and foremost--See your doctor!🌼Secondly--eliminate sugar. Damn, eh? If you're a woman who gets an infection from having intercourse this bit of information is life changing. All sugars--refined sugar, honey, potatoes, rice, crisps, crackers. Just try it and be amazed. Once things are under control, bring back twice cooked potatoes and rice and see how it goes.
🌼 Thirdly, have some Cystitis Tea.
During infection have three cups a day.
As a preventative, one cup a day.
🌼 Do not use this tea if you are pregnant.
If you experience bladder infections while pregnant, please email us.
We can make this up without the bearberry. Easy peasy!
The herbs in this tea are anti-microbial, demulcent, and have an astringent effect on the bladder. While the last thing one wants to do is drink fluids so more urine is made, it is the way to go. Apologies!
A large batch can be made for the day and sipped throughout.
Cystitis Tea, Organic

Cover. Steep for 3-5 minutes. Strain. Do Not Sweeten.
Drink up to three cups per day during infection.A large batch of three cups can be made in the morning and kept in the fridge to sip through the day.
As a preventative, one cup per day along with the elimination of all sugars (refined, honey, potatoes, rice.)
CAUTION: If pain persists and travels up the back or along the sides of the body, please consult a physician. These are signs of a kidney infection and immediate care is required. The kidneys are soooo important.Remember to re-use the tea up to three times as they retain their therapeutic value.
