Hawthorn berry helps calm spasms, is anti-inflammatory and may help with sleep.
Ginger is warming, helps with cramping, is anti-inflammatory and can help with headaches.
Liquorice provides some sweetness, is soothing for the gut and smooth muscle tissue and provides adrenal support during stress.
Elderberry can help with bloating being slightly diuretic, is an immune booster and keeps skin & tissues healthy. Fun!
Raspberry leaf is included in small amounts to aid with uterine tone. Its antioxidants help reduce cramping and can help with heavier flow. It is detoxifying helping to eliminate toxin build up which can cause period pain or PMS. Pretty darn interesting.
Dandelion root helps support the liver, removing toxins, and keeping things ticking along. 

 

Due to Liquorice content, caution with high blood pressure.

  • Infuse 1 teaspoon in one cup of boiling water.
    Cover. Infuse for 5-10 minutes. Strain.
    Drink at least two cups per day during period. 
    Start 2 days before period begins & 4 days during bleed.
    If symptoms persist, continue use for two more days.

    Can be made ahead of time and sipped through the day. 
    Keep in fridge if making the day before.

    Due to the presence of Liquorice do not use if you have high blood pressure or on high blood pressure medication.
